Kitaro will perform at Kyoto, Japan for the 26th anniversary of, "The Night for the Tale of the Heike "Heike Monogatari No Yube" on November 6th.
Heike was a major Japanese clan of samurai during the end of the 12th century. The Tale of the Heike "Heiko Monoagtari" is an epic account of the Genpei War (1180-1185) between the Heike and the Minamoto for control over Japan.
In this event, performers will introduce well-known classic stories from the Tale of the Heike. Kitaro wrote the theme song and will perform at this event.
