Domo is proud to re-release two landmark works by New Age pioneer Kitaro, for the ?rst time in 180 gram vinyl. Both Impressions of the West Lake and Kojiki are vivid representations of this visionary artist’s indelible sound. Universally acknowledged as the founding architect of New Age music, Kitaro’s various sound collaborations and resonant, multi-textured compositions truly defy the constraints of any genre. The Grammy- and Golden Globe-winning artist has garnered global acclaim over his lengthy career with a signature sound and an innovative fusion of cultures, techniques and spheres of consciousness that are truly his own.

Kojiki is an inspired musical journey based on the ancient chronicle (Kojiki) that recounts the birth of Japan and its people. Featuring the string section from the Skywalker Symphony, along with Kitaro’s signature keyboard and ? ute sounds, the score to this thematic backdrop is full of passion and beauty that is masterfully conceived, arranged and performed. Kojiki is an intimate journey to inner realms as well as exotic earthly destinations. This is a tour de force for Kitaro and his ensemble, offering drama, grace, and humanity, performed with a profound spirit in this musical adaptation of legends from traditional Japanese folklore.

Ibuki (1999)

Originally released in 1999, the Yoshida Brothers’ debut album Ibuki, is getting a well-deserved re-release from Domo, marking the first time it has been available in the U.S. market. When originally released, the disc sold over 100,000 copies—an incredible feat, since up to that point most tsugaru-shamisen recordings rarely sold more than a thousand copies in Japan.

Move (2000)

The brothers began to spread their wings with their follow-up, Move (2000). This re-release of their groundbreaking second album represents the first time this album has been issued in the U.S. It features more original compositions than its predecessor and shows the brothers expanding their musical horizons, incorporating a variety of instruments beyond the tsugaru-shamisen and exploring numerous disparate musical influences.

I have finished Japan Tour with great success. It was first time to visit Japan for our most of Staff.

I would like to say thank you for my fans and people who involve my concerts.

I performed Taiko for dedication in front of a huge statue of Buddha at Toudai-ji in Nara the day before the concert in Nara.

My select wine "Impressions" Pinot Noir 2007 has been released and It was almost sold out now.

I performed in Hong Kong on October 13th and 14th.
The concerts were completely sold out! It was so tight schedule in Hong Kong, so I couldn't eat local food at this time. I hope I'll do that next time.

I performed at Mt. Fuji on September 5th. I'm playing the event next year so please come and join!

I have finished tour in 2009 and am working of Sacred Journey of Ku-Kai Vol.4 now.
I will release Sacred Journey of Ku-Kai Vol.4 in next year.

JABBERLOOP will make their debut in the U.S.
